​ARRIVAL TIME & PARKING

Your assigned run time is listed on this page below the map. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time and park in any available spot in the parking lot (accessed off of 73rd Street).

You are welcome to potty your dog upon arrival, but please wait in your car until your run time when not pottying your dog. When I'm ready for you, I will come outside to escort you into the building to begin your searches.

Participants may video record their own searches. Please have your camera ready and recording before stepping up to the start line for each search.

Spectators are welcome but may not be able to watch all searches due to search area constraints.

Human restrooms are not available at this event. Please use one of the neighboring businesses if you need to use a bathroom.
DOG POTTY AREAS & LEASH REQUIREMENT

Dogs must remain on-leash at all times while on the property.

Please take your dog to relieve themselves along 73rd Street only.

Please take any dog waste with you for off-site disposal.
GAME & SEARCH DETAILS​​

There will be no walk-through prior to searching.

Before your first search, I will ask whether you'd like to run blind or know the hide locations for all three searches. You must use the same approach for all three searches. You are eligible for your Game title regardless of your selection.

SEARCH SETUP

You'll complete three interior searches run back-to-back.
-
Each search will contain 2 hides with a 2:30 minute time limit.

Handler will perform both a unique sound and movement action during each search.
-
Creative handler actions are encouraged (e.g., clapping while taking big steps, singing while hopping, moaning while walking like a zombie, etc.).

Handler actions must not purposefully stress, startle or frighten the dog.

You may run blind or know where the hides are.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TITLING

To qualify, you must:

Earn a "pass" on all scorecard items across the three searches

Have no more than 2 faults and no disqualifications
-
Call or indicate "Alert" for each hide your dog finds

RUNNING ORDER
SCORING, FAULTS & DISQUALIFICATIONS
Each Game entry requires three total searches. Participants must pass all testing criteria for all three searches to earn a passing score. All three searches must be completed as part of a single entry on the same day or at the same event. No partial credit will be awarded for passing only two of the three searches.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A GAME TITLE
You must pass the following scorecard items across all 3 searches:

Dog knows what they are searching for

Dog is focused on the search

Dog is working independently
-
Dog is interested in searching

Dog finds all the hides
-
Handler calls or indicates “alert”
FAULTS
You are allowed up to 2 faults across all three searches:

Dog is destructive
-
Handler drops treats or toy
-
Handler fails to reward the dog upon correctly finding a hide
DISQUALIFICATIONS
Any one of these will result in immediate disqualification:

Dog urinates, defecates, or vomits in search area

Dog demonstrates any aggression towards handler, evaluator, etc.

Handler exhibits any aggressive handling towards dog

Handler displays any unsportsmanlike conduct

Handler calls or indicates a false alert

SCORESHEETS & TITLING
​SCORESHEETS
You will receive a paper scoresheet after your final search. It is your responsibility to upload the scoresheet to Cyber Scent Work if you wish to receive your Game Title from this event.
​
Instructions for uploading your scoresheet are provided at the bottom of the scoresheet, and there is no deadline for submission. Cyber Scent Work will charge an additional $15.00 (credit card only) per dog for each Game scoresheet you upload.
​
TITLING INFORMATION
After you upload your scoresheet, the Cyber Scent Work team will review it for accuracy. If you qualified for a title, you will receive a title certificate via email within approximately one week.
​
Individual Game titles do not include ribbons. However, you will receive a ribbon in the mail for every five Game titles earned, with ribbons increasing in size as you progress. More information about titling can be found on the Cyber Scent Work website​: https://www.cyberscentwork.com/titles
