Your assigned run time is listed below the map, under the participation level you registered for.

ARRIVAL, CHECK-IN & RESTROOMS

  • Please arrive 20 minutes before your run time. Arriving early will not move you earlier in the running order.

  • When you arrive, park in the designated areas shown on the map below and enter through the marked door to check in at the registration desk. Please confirm your car make and model and cell phone number at check-in.

  • When your run time is approaching, a volunteer will escort you inside for your searches. Please do not stage outside with your dog until instructed to do so.

  • Restrooms are available inside the building. Please let a volunteer know before heading to the restroom so as not to disturb any teams staged in the lobby.

  • If your dog requires a red bandanna, please bring your own.

DOG POTTY AREAS & LEASH REQUIREMENTS

  • Dogs must remain on leash at all times, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Your dog must remain in your vehicle unless you are pottying them or they are coming into the building for their searches.

  • Please use only the designated potty areas shown on the map. Do not potty your dog near the church buildings or in areas with exiting foot traffic.

  • Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the bin near the building entrance or take it with you.

SEARCH DETAILS

  • There will be no walk through prior to searching.

  • Participants will have either 3 or 4 searches. The number of searches you signed up for is listed below with your run time. Once you begin, you will move through all 3 or 4 search areas consecutively.

  • 3-search sign-ups will receive 2 interior searches and 1 vehicle search; 4-search sign-ups will receive 3 interior searches and 1 vehicle search.

  • Searches will be conducted in accordance with current NACSW trial rulebook guidelines regarding false alerts, faults, and errors. If you would like to continue running after a false alert, you must request this at the start of each search. If you do not make this request, you will be dismissed from the search after your level-appropriate number of false alerts.

  • For each search:

    • All searches will be run blind unless you inform the judge that you would like to know the hide locations.
Call "ALERT" each time your dog finds a hide. NW2 and above, call "FINISH" when your dog has completed the search.

  • Participants may video record their own searches in accordance with current NACSW trial rulebook guidelines. Have your camera on and recording before stepping up to the start line. Spectators  are welcome, but are not permitted to record your searches.

  • Once you have finished all of your searches, you are welcome to leave.
If you opted in to receive results: you will be emailed within one week of the event with your search area results.

Please park in designated participant parking areas. The vehicle search will be taking place on the north side of the building and failure to park in the designated areas will disrupt the teams who are searching and effect the flow of the event. Thank you!
